'''정의당'''(正義黨)은 2012년 10월에 창당한 [[대한민국]]의 [[진보주의]] 정당이다. 정의당은 진보정의당 창당을 주도했던 [[국민참여당]] 출신의 참여계, [[민족 해방 (운동권)|자주파]] 세력의 일부인 [[인천연합]]계, [[민중민주파|평등파]] 세력인 새진보통합연대계([[진보신당]] 탈당 세력)의 3개 조직과 창당 이후 입당한 대다수 당원으로 구성되어 있다. 2012년 10월 7일에 창당발기인대회를 통해 당명을 확정짓고 '진보정의당 창당준비위원회'를 결성하였고, 2012년 10월 21일에 진보정의당 창당대회를 열었다. 2013년 7월 21일, 당원 총투표를 거쳐 당명을 "정의당"으로 바꾸었다. 대한민국 [[대한민국 제21대 국회의원 선거|21대 총선]]에서 6명의 의원을 배출하여 현재 원내 3당의 지위를 차지하고 있다.[[야당]]의 지위를 가지고 있는 소규모 [[정당]]으로써 [[원내정당]]중 유일하게 [[사회민주주의]]를 추구하는 [[정당]]이기도 하다. 2024년에 국회의원 선거를 앞두고 [[녹색당 (대한민국)|녹색당]]과 선거 연합을 추진하여 녹색정의당으로 당명 변경 후 정의당으로 당명을 재변경했다.

'''정의당'''(正義黨)은 2012년 10월에 창당한 [[대한민국]]의 [[진보주의]] 정당이다. 정의당은 진보정의당 창당을 주도했던 [[국민참여당]] 출신의 참여계, [[민족 해방 (운동권)|자주파]] 세력의 일부인 [[인천연합]]계, [[민중민주파|평등파]] 세력인 새진보통합연대계([[진보신당]] 탈당 세력)의 3개 조직과 창당 이후 입당한 대다수 당원으로 구성되어 있다. 2012년 10월 7일에 창당발기인대회를 통해 당명을 확정짓고 '진보정의당 창당준비위원회'를 결성하였고, 2012년 10월 21일에 진보정의당 창당대회를 열었다. 2013년 7월 21일, 당원 총투표를 거쳐 당명을 "정의당"으로 바꾸었다. 대한민국 [[대한민국 제21대 국회의원 선거|21대 총선]]에서 6명의 의원을 배출하여 현재 원내 3당의 지위를 차지하고 있다.[[야당]]의 지위를 가지고 있는 소규모 [[정당]]으로써 [[원내정당]]중 유일하게 [[사회민주주의]]를 추구하는 [[정당]]이기도 하다. 2024년에 국회의원 선거를 앞두고 [[녹색당 (대한민국)|녹색당]]과 선거 연합을 추진하여 녹색정의당으로 당명 변경 후 정의당으로 당명을 재변경했다. 22대 총선에서 15석을 득표했다.

지역 일간지 구마모토일일신문사 계열이다. 라디오 뉴스 제목도 《구마니치 뉴스》 (熊日ニュース)라고 한다. 텔레비전 방송은 JNN-TBS테레비 네트워크, 라디오 방송은 TBS라디오 계열의 JRN과 분카방송-닛폰방송 계열의 NRN에 동시 가맹해 있다. 네트워크와는 별도로 TV도쿄, RF라디오일본의 프로그램을 구매해 편성하기도 한다.

중파방송 (AM) 주파수는 1197kHz이고 출력은 10kW인데, 현 단위 지역방송 가운데서 높은 편이다.<ref>인근의 나가사키방송, 미야자키방송 등의 경우에는 5kW로 송출된다.</ref> 중계국 주파수도 1197kHz로 단일화해 동기 방송하고 있다. 장소에 따라서 송신소와 중계국 신호가 겹쳐 소리가 울리는 경우도 있다. 또, 후쿠오카현의 RKB라디오 기타큐슈 중계국(중계소)과 주파수가 같아 섞여 들리기도 한다. 같은 큐슈 권역에서 왜 주파수가 겹치도록 배정됐는지는 불명이다.

2016년부터 대한민국의 표준FM과 유사한 FM보완방송 (와이드FM)을 하고 있는데, 부산과 경남지역 민영방송인 KNN과 유사하게 매 정각 시보마다 구마모토 91.4, 히토요시/아소 92.3, 미나마타 94.2, 미즈카미 80.0 주파수를 고지한다.

RKK는 대한민국의 울산문화방송과 2005년 10월부터 우호 교류를 하고 있다.
